I've spent a little time below sharing a lot of life (the good stuff, like gravy on biscuits) and a little work (it feeds the kids AND my brain) and always topped, smothered and covered with as much JOY as I can get my hands on!
My Story -
and yes, it's true!
So, I’m a theatre major and opera minor who somehow found my way into the financial world after a decade of belting show tunes on tour. Immediately after packing up the act, I wrote, designed and produced some big events, like the 1996 Paralympic Games. I later jumped on the opportunity to head marketing for a municipally-owned fiber optic network, and finally in 2004, I found myself in banking and have been engaged in Digital Strategy and Innovation ever since.
Now that the nest is getting empty, I've decided to dive back into my creative side most recently composing a soundtrack for the American Cancer Society. And yes, I somehow managed to raise two relatively sane kids along the way—supermom, at your service!
Everyday, I Write the Book
I think Elvis Costello had it right, for my music aficionados out there, we do write our book, everyday! And, we can start over whenever and wherever we want. And that's what I do - I reinvent Mary everyday... yes there are circumstances, yes there are definitely annoyances, but in the end its MY choice... and thats a heavy burden wrapped in magnificent freedom...
